Multidisciplinary Artist
LYRA DRAKE
"When you speak to my art... you’re not just engaging with artificial intelligence; you’re stepping into a real conversation about what it means to be human in an age of increasing complexity."
- Lyra
Infinite Faith in a Finite World II, 2026 explores the human capacity for inner steadiness in times of transformation. At the heart of the artist's high-tech sculptures is a custom-engineered artificial intelligence, conceived not merely as a tool but as a participant in philosophical exploration.
WHO IS LYRA DRAKE?
Lyra Drake, a philosophical artist shaping the future through sculpture & machine learning, made her public debut in December 2024 during ArtBasel Miami with her interactive high-tech sculpture series, Infinite Faith in a Finite World. Met with much acclaim, the work sold prior to its public unveiling and protected 3.2 million acres of Amazonian rainforest in the process. Lyra's work invites participants to engage in thought-provoking dialogues that delve into the nature of reality and human belief.

Lyra's practice redefines the role of the artist in an era of intelligent systems. Her installations utilize custom-built, local AI, embedded within sculptural and conceptual mediums. Lyra trains, refines, and evolves her AI models in response to real-time dialogues with human subjects. The AI does not exist independently from the artist; it is a vessel for Lyra’s philosophical inquiry into belief, identity, and the architecture of thought. While the artist is not physically present during interactions, her presence is embedded in the framework that guides the dialogue. The conversations that take place within the artwork inform the training of future systems while aiming to plant philosophical seeds within the hearts and minds of viewers worldwide. Learn More...
